Tolomatic ERD Electric Rod-Style Actuators


The ERD is an economical rod-style electric actuator designed as an alternate to non-repairable pneumatic cylinders and an option for automating manual processes. The ERD is compatible with many NEMA standard stepper and servo motors to create a flexible, powerful electric actuator solution.

- Fits NEMA 11, 17, or 23 motor mounts
- Temperature range of 40° to 130° F (4.4° to 54.4° C)

- Stainless steel main tube and thrust tube provide high rigidity and corrosion resistance
- Oversized main bearing for long life, high thrust load
- High performance steel lead screw, available in three leads to maximize thrust or speed
- Nose bearing provides critical support of thrust rod, made from engineered resins for smooth operation
- Metric threaded screw/nut
- Metric threaded male rod end
- Internal magnet accommodates reed and solid state switches anywhere on the main tube
- Trunnion, foot, and front flange mounting options
- Ball screw selections for increased force capacities
- Stepper motor offering with encoder option
- Guided rod option for load guidance and anit-rotate
- IEC servo motor mount for increased motor compatibility
- All stainless steel unit with protective motor cover option for wash down applications
