Meridian Laboratory Slip Rings

Meridian Laboratory's broad line of standard ROTOCON models let you choose the number of contacts as well as the current handling capability. Standard options are available to give you a choice of mounting configuration, electrical connection, cooling, and degree of environmental sealing.

ROTOCON environmentally sealed rotary contact assemblies are the high performance electrical link between stationary and rotating components. Their inherent characteristics of low and stable resistance (low noise), and high current handling capabilities make them ideally suited to carry both power and control signals within the same assembly. Unlike conventional slip ring designs, which rely on sliding, wear prone, solid metal to metal contacts, all ROTOCON models use environmentally sealed rotary metal film contacts which are inherently arc-free, maintenance free and explosion proof. Because of these unique characteristics, ROTOCON's routinely solve rotating contact problems which are impossible with conventional slip rings.
