Low Inertia Clutches and Brakes
- Torque ratings from 2,340 lb-in to 11,430,000 lb-in torque
- Sizes from 4” up to 60” diameter
- Accommodates bore sizes from 0.50” (12.7 mm) to 18.9” (480 mm)
- Available as high torque clutches or spring set brakes
- Designed for metal forming and stamping equipment and general power transmission applications
Power Take-Off Clutches
- Maximum input torque from 177 lb-ft to 2,400 lb-ft
- Maximum clutch ratings from 57 hp to 582 hp with 2 second slip
- Mechanically actuated
- Sealed ball pilot bearings to eliminate lubrication problems normally encountered
- Suitable for inline and sideload applications on all internal combustion engines with standard SAE flywheel housing dimensions
- Available with ball bearing throw-out collars
- Heavy duty hydraulic or pneumatic models available, rated up to 2,100+ hp
Power Grip & Power PO clutches
- Torque ratings from 7,300 lb-in to 11,340,000 lb-in
- Accommodates bore sizes from 0.94” to 15.0”
- Designed to accommodate inline mounting for heavy duty power transmission
- Useful as a coupling clutch in conjunction with either a quick change or standard driving adapter
- Split friction discs and air tubes available to assist with maintenance
- Also available as:
- Power Grip high speed clutches for sever applications mounted to internal combustion engines
- Power Grip PO clutches
Water Cooled Brakes
- Torque ratings from 29,800 lb-in to 2,693,800 lb-in
- Heat dissipation capacities from 120 hp to 2,600 hp
- Bore sizes from 2.25” to 10.125”
- Designed for constant slip and severe high heat braking applications
- Cooled with a continuous flow of coolant from a closed or open loop cooling system
- Two actuation methods available: air tube or piston
- Also available in spring set or dual actuated (spring and air applied, air released) configurations
