The challenge was to provide a cost effective, robust design that fit into a confined space and met several other application requirements.

Nothing standard was available to meet the many requirements.

Combined and adapted standard worm gearmotor with a planetary primary configured to adapt to a secondary worm gear set, which was configured to accept a customer drive shaft. Width, height, length severely restricted.

It takes a lot of imagination to solve some problems. Awareness of component availability with creativeness results in a solution.
