Mechanical Actuator

R.M. Hoffman received a concept for this actuator from our customer. A requirement was that it must accurately open and close. Due to chemical compatibility, it also needed to be made of special materials. The unit was in a wet environment and therefore needed to be completely sealed.

Special materials including 316L Stainless, plastic bearings, plastic right-angle drive gears.

Fit an existing tight envelope.

R.M. Hoffman completed this project in only 3 weeks despite constant specification changes.
