Community Outreach

At R.M. Hoffman Company, we believe in giving back to our community in a unique and meaningful way. We are constantly approached to support many worthwhile programs which makes it difficult to decide which one to put our effort and energy into. Each year, in December, we determine which program we can contribute to. In the past, we have typically chosen an organization for whom we can gather items to fulfill an urgent need.

Past community outreach projects included:

Ongoing - Mobile Phone Donations to Aid Domestic Violence Victims
2003 - Warm Clothing Donations to Sacred Heart Community Service
2003 - Care Packages for our Women Soldiers Overseas
2002 - Second Harvest Food Bank Peanut Butter Donation
2001 - Ronald McDonald House Donation
1999-2000 - Layette Clothing for Needy Mothers
1998 - Toy Truck Donations for Sacred Heart Community Service
1997 - Barbie Doll Donations for Sacred Heart Community Service
1989-1996 - Clothing, toys, furniture and food collections to various charity organizations.

We also make an effort to support programs that our customers and suppliers have. Past projects have included:

American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Triathlete Events
Walk-A-Thons
Candy Bar Sales
Golf Tournaments
Silent Auctions
and many more.

Each of us has an opportunity to make this world a better place for all to live. It can only be done step by step. We challenge you to start a community outreach project through your company or in your community. After the first year of doing a community outreach project, it becomes an annual event the next.
