Bringing Warmth To Families
In July 2003, an employee told us about her daughter's roommates, Sgt. Desi in Baghdad and Sgt. Katy in Iraq. They were both reservists that were called to active duty. We decided we needed to help out these and other soldiers. We gathered soap, lotion, shampoo, hair ribbons and all kinds of personal products.
The employees used their own funds to buy products. The company also bought many products. A local Dermatologist, Dr. Bernie Recht of Sunnyvale, CA donated two large bags of items. We are very proud of our soldiers and it is because of them that we feel safe in our country. We hope this helps their stay. This program was started by Operation Yellow Ribbon which is now a part of Operation Military Pride.
