Tom Hoffman - President / CEO
Tom Hoffman, C.P.M.R. is the President and CEO of R.M. Hoffman Company. He joined the Company in 1978 as a Sales Engineer, and eventually took over the Company in 1990. Tom has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC-Davis, and over 30 years of engineering design experience. He has a Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (C.P.M.R.) designation through the Institute for Professional Advancement at Arizona State University.
Tom is also a member of the Manufacturers Agents National Association (MANA), Manufacturers Representatives Educational Research Foundation (MRERF), Power-Motion Technology Representative Association (PTRA), and the Renaissance Executive Forums of the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. Tom is proud to be an Eagle Scout – awarded by the Boy Scouts of America.
Tom has made numerous improvements to the R.M. Hoffman Company over the years. He introduced design modification and assembly, while increasing the square footage, workforce, and sales of the company. The Company has also become ISO 9001:2008 Registered.
In the past, the Company focused solely on sales of products, but Tom discovered the Industry’s need for modified and custom products on a short timeline. Factory modifications were too slow and costly for the demanding fast-paced industry. By providing the solutions customers required, Tom found R.M. Hoffman Company’s niche in the market.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys ranching, participating in local Hi-Tech forums, and doing charity work.
Ray Krieger - Sales Manager
In the year 2000, Ray Krieger joined the R.M. Hoffman Company as sales manager. Ray’s background is extensive in machinery specified in multiple markets and worldwide in scope. Starting in corporate America as a sales engineer after graduation, Ray had responsibility to garner specification as a direct salesman, through distribution and independent representatives to heavy industry.
Rotating and reciprocating machinery at original equipment makers and users such as steel rolling mills, natural gas pipelines, refineries and chemical plants; all these industrial customers and many more were sold on the merits of technical, mechanical components and systems.
After joining R.M. Hoffman Company, where similar products and markets are served on a territory level, Ray helped initiate a move towards satisfying customer desires to buy a package or custom assembly, where traditionally components were purchased individually. This has lead to business in the Medical and Semiconductor industry, which is in a growth phase and has changed the complexion of the company. Customers in these markets “outsource”, choosing to engineer their products but frown on manufacturing.
Debbie Paulino - Production Manager
Debbie Paulino Joined the R.M. Hoffman Company in 2000 to implement and lead the Corporation's Customer Service Department. Debbie has over 25 years of experience in Customer Service and Manufacturing.
Debbie provides customers with excellent customer service, which includes hiring and training staff members and maintaining the information systems. In 2005 Debbie also took over as Production Manager and implemented processes and procedures to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations of quality on-time delivery.
With a strong knowledge of both Customer Service and Manufacturing, Debbie has taken the Customer Service and Production Departments to a whole new level, consistent with both Industry and ISO Standards.
Debbie has been responsible for the diversified requirements of maintaining on-time delivery across multiple product lines. She has experience in all aspects of Production Planning, Assembly and Inside Sales as well as Accounting.
From 1983-2000 Debbie worked for a high Tech Power Supply Manufacturer in Silicon Valley where, after working through various levels of Accounting, she took over as the Customer Service Manager.
